Privacy Notice
How we collect, use and protect your information. Applies to all Sarv Shield plans.
Who we are
1.1 Sarv Shield is run by SR Interior Designs Private Limited, 504, Athena Avenue, Sarkhej–Gandhinagar Highway, behind Jaguar Showroom, Devnagar, Gota, Ahmedabad, Gujarat 382481. GSTIN 24ABGCS7487P1ZE. CIN U74990GJ2021PTC125251.
1.2 We decide what information is collected about you and why, so we are responsible for looking after it.
1.3 This notice applies to the Full Home Interior Plan, the Furniture Protection Plan and the Commercial Interior Plan, to our website, and to anyone who enquires with us.
1.4 Questions about your information: write to privacy@sarvshield.com or call +91 94098 12299. Our point of contact for privacy is Raj Parekh, Chief Executive Officer, at the address above.
What we collect
2.1 When you enquire
2.1.1 Your name, mobile number, email, the area you live or trade in, and what you asked about.
2.2 When you join
2.2.1 Your name, mobile number, alternate number and email.
2.2.2 The address of your home or premises, the type and size of it, when the interior work was finished, and who did it.
2.2.3 Whether you own or rent, and for commercial members the business name, GSTIN, the person we deal with, and the owner’s consent where you are a tenant.
2.2.4 For furniture members, the product, brand, model, your seller and the price you paid.
2.2.5 Your payment reference. We do not see or store your card number, your UPI PIN or your bank password — those stay with the payment provider.
2.3 When we inspect and when we repair
2.3.1 Photographs and measurements of the interiors and furniture we accept, and of any fault we find.
2.3.2 The record of every service request — what you reported, what we found, what we did, the parts we used, and how much of each limit you have used.
2.3.3 Notes about access, safety and the best time to work at your address.
2.4 When you contact us
2.4.1 Your messages, emails and the record of your calls. We tell you at the start of a call if it is being recorded.
2.5 When you use our website
2.5.1 Basic technical information such as the pages you visited, your approximate location from your network, your device and browser. We use cookies for this. You can turn non-essential cookies off in your browser.
2.6 Customers should not send unrelated identity or sensitive personal documents. Partner applications require the relevant business, GST, PAN, authorised-signatory identity and payout documents described below. Aadhaar is not compulsory.
Partner applications and document review
For showroom, manufacturer, architect and interior-design applications we collect legal business name, brand name, owner and contact-person details, business category, address, contact numbers and the verified login mobile number.
GST registration is mandatory for approval. The application includes the GST certificate, relevant PAN, an accepted identity document for the owner or authorised signatory, a front photograph of the business premises, bank beneficiary/account/IFSC and payout evidence, and the completed application and partner agreement signed and stamped by the business. Aadhaar is optional; DigiLocker is not part of the launch workflow.
The assigned salesperson prepares the application. An authorised manager reviews the documents, requests corrections or approves it. Access is restricted to the staff handling the application and the authorised review process; these documents are not public website content.
Optional dates, messages and service photographs
Birthday and anniversary details are optional. Where you choose to provide them, we explain their use for greetings and record the relevant messaging choice separately from required plan acceptance.
Inspection and service photographs are limited to necessary evidence of the registered items, their condition and the work performed. Avoid unrelated people, personal documents and private possessions. Marketing photographs, testimonials and promotional messages require a separate optional permission; buying a plan does not grant that permission.
Why we use it
We use your information only for these purposes:
(a) To decide whether we can accept your home, premises or product, and to set your fee and your limits.
(b) To deliver the service — to book visits, send a technician, order the right parts and finish the repair.
(c) To keep your service record, so that we know what is covered and how much of each limit you have used.
(d) To raise your tax invoice and keep the accounts and GST records the law requires.
(e) To answer your questions and handle any complaint.
(f) To improve the service — we study which parts and brands fail, how often, and at what age, so that we can repair better and price honestly.
(g) To send you your renewal offer.
(h) To send you offers and news, and to use photographs of your home or premises in our marketing — only if you ticked those boxes. You can change your mind at any time.
3.1 We do not sell your information to anyone, ever. We do not share it with advertisers, data brokers or lenders.
3.2 We do not use your information to make any decision about you by computer alone.
How long we keep it
| What | How long |
|---|---|
| Enquiry that did not become a membership | 12 months, then deleted |
| Your membership and service records | While you are a member, and 3 years after it ends |
| Photographs of your home, premises or product | While you are a member, and 3 years after it ends |
| Invoices, payments and GST records | 8 years, as the law requires |
| Call recordings | 6 months, unless a complaint is open |
| Marketing consent, and your withdrawal of it | Kept as proof of what you chose |
5.1 We keep the failure data behind a repair — the brand, the material, the age at failure and the fault — after removing your name and address. That helps us price and repair better, and it cannot be traced back to you.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to:
(a) Tell you what we hold about you, and give you a copy.
(b) Correct anything that is wrong, incomplete or out of date.
(c) Delete what we hold, where we are not required by law to keep it.
(d) Stop sending you marketing, or stop using photographs of your home or premises.
(e) Name someone who may exercise these rights for you if you are unable to.
6.1 Write to privacy@sarvshield.com. We answer within 30 calendar days. There is no charge.
6.2 Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it. Every marketing message we send carries a way to stop it, and one line to privacy@sarvshield.com is enough.
6.3 Please note what withdrawal does. If you withdraw consent for the information we need to deliver the service — your address, your item list, your service record — we can no longer run your membership, and it ends. The fee is not returned, because your cover was available to you. Withdrawing marketing consent changes nothing about your membership.
6.4 We may ask you to confirm who you are before we act, so that nobody else can ask for your information.
Keeping it safe
7.1 We limit who in our team can see your information to the people who need it for their work.
7.2 Accounts are protected by passwords, access is logged, and we remove access when someone leaves.
7.3 Our vendor partners and technicians sign a written confidentiality undertaking before they receive any customer information.
7.4 We do not allow customer information to be kept on a technician’s personal device beyond the job in hand, and we do not allow it to be shared on personal messaging groups.
7.5 If something goes wrong and your information is exposed, we will tell you and the authority concerned, without delay, and we will tell you plainly what happened and what we are doing about it.
Children
8.1 Our plans are sold to adults. We do not knowingly collect information about children. If a child’s details reach us by accident, please tell us and we will delete them.
Changes to this notice
9.1 If we change this notice we publish the new version at sarvshield.com with a new version number and date. Where a change affects how we use information you have already given us, we tell you before it takes effect.
9.2 A change to this notice never changes your cover, your fee, your visits or your limits.
The law behind this notice
10.1 We handle your information under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000 with the rules made under them, and we keep the accounting and tax records that the Companies Act, 2013 and the GST law require.
10.2 Nothing in this notice takes away any right you have under those laws or under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
If you are not happy
11.1 Please write to privacy@sarvshield.com first. We acknowledge within 48 hours and resolve within one calendar month.
11.2 If we have not put it right, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India, or to the consumer forum with jurisdiction over you. The National Consumer Helpline is 1915.
